As a Sr Research Statistician Developer, you will:

  • Develop high-quality statistical software by designing, programming, testing, and documenting code.
  • Research and select appropriate statistical methods and computational algorithms.
  • Advance JMP's leadership position in the market for statistical software by understanding and anticipating customer needs.
  • Build expertise in one or more specialized areas of statistics by participation in research conferences and professional activities.
  • Work closely with technical support and testing groups

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced programming skills and in-depth knowledge of specialized computational  techniques required to develop statistical procedures/actions
  • Proficiency in JMP development environment
  • Ability to develop and enhance statistical software
  • Ability to write documentation
  • Ability to work closely with testing
  • Ability to work closely with technical support groups
  • 10+ Years related work experience
