We’re looking for superstar Research Statistician Development interns who love to design, develop, and debug software. As a Research Statistician Software Development intern, you’ll work with (and learn from) the best as you tackle projects that span the software development lifecycle. You’ll have ample opportunity to make – or rather, code – your mark. 

 

 What we’re looking for 

  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Pursuing a MS/PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field at an accredited college/university; not graduating prior to December 2026.
  • Someone with knowledge of experimental design or reliability analysis.
  • Familiarity with topics in optimal design of experiments, Bayesian optimization, combinatorial design, graph theory, or reliability.
  • Ability to think analytically and to effectively communicate problems and suggest solutions.
  • Ability to conduct independent research, gathering information from multiple sources and communicate recommendations to the development team.
  • Ability to give specific, constructive feedback and exert positive influence.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with other testers, developers, documentation staff members as well as technical support.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Nice to Haves

  • Experience using R, Python, Julia, Matlab, or C++
  • Basic to advanced programming skills
