About the Internship:

The JMP Life Sciences division improves all JMP products with advanced solutions in a wide number of fields, including genomics, clinical data science, and chemistry.  We are also spearheading new developments for cutting edge machine learning implementations using XGBoost and Torch. 

Role responsibilities for this internship include:

• Programming in C++ to build new machine learning interfaces for life science research.
• Testing, benchmarking, documenting, and promoting this work (written and/or video).  

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Master’s or preferably a PhD in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Chemistry, Clinical Statistics, Statistical Genomics, Engineering, or other life-science-analytic focused major at an accredited college/university (not graduating prior to Dec 2026).
• Strong communication and coding skills – both written and verbal.
• You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

Timeline:
